Academic Details |
The curriculum of study for the LL.B.(Hons.) Degree shall be spread over
three academic years, and shall be divided into six semesters for the examination
purposes, called as First, Second, Third, Fourth, Fifth and Sixth semesters. |
The academic year shall extend from the day of the reopening of University after
summer vacation to the last working day of the concerned academic year or as
determined by Academic Council. The First, Third and Fifth semesters shall
ordinarily extend from the day of re-opening of the University after summer
vacation to the last week of December as the case may be. The Second, Fourth and
Sixth semesters shall ordinarily extend from the first week of January to the last
working day of the concerned academic year / commencement of summer
vacation. |
Conditions of eligibility for taking admission to LL.B. (Hons.) Part-I

An applicant who has successfully completed Graduation under 10+2+3 or 11+2+2 or any other corresponding degree examination of any University recognized as equivalent thereto by the Binod Bihari Mahto Koylanchal University with at least 45 percent of marks in case of general category applicants and 40 percent marks in case of SC/ST/OBC applicants in the aggregate shall be eligible for admission to LL.B.(Hons.) Sem-I Course. Admission shall be given strictly on merit subject to the conditions stipulated by the Bar Council of India, New Delhi and Binod Bihari Mahto Koylanchal University, Dhanbad.
The applicants who have undergone graduation through Open Universities system directly without having any basic qualification for seeking such studies are not eligible for admission in the law course.
The applicants who have undergone Two-Year Degree Course before 19861are eligible to take admission to LL.B.(Hons.) Sem-I Course.
Open School or Open University students are also eligible for admission to LL.B.(Hons.) Sem-I Course provided they have attended at least one Regular Course.
