An alumnus of this College who was conferred Legum Baccalaureus by Vinoba Bhave University, Hazaribag. He secured first position in the order of merit at the LL.B. Examination 2001. Amresh has been awarded the Post Graduate Degree of Legum Magister by the Department of Post Graduate Teaching and Research in Law of Barkatullah University, Bhopal in 2004 in first division with first position in the order of merit. He has submitted his Dissertation titled “A Study on the Human Rights of Persons with Disabilities” to the P.G. Deptt. of Law. His specialization subject was Human Rights.
He is associated with this College since March 2005 and his area of interest beside Human Rights includes Jurisprudence, International Law, Humanitarian Law, Professional Ethics, Interpretation of Statutes, and Intellectual Property Law.

He was selected for the Training Program on Law Teaching and Legal Research Skills held at HNLU, Raipur from 29th to 31st October, 2006. The Program was jointly organized by Hidayatullah National Law University, Chhattisgarh, British Council, New Delhi and Cardiff Law School, Cardiff University, Wales, U.K.

He was selected for the Regional Teachers Training Programme on International Humanitarian Law held at University of Burdwan from 28th to 30th October, 2010. The Program was jointly organized by the Department of Law, The University of Burdwan and the International Committee of the Red Cross, Regional Delegation for South Asia, New Delhi.
He has presented a Paper titled Human Rights and Terrorismin the UGC Sponsored National Seminar organized by the Department of Law, The University of Burdwan on Human Rights in 21st Century: The Issues and Challenges held on 30-31July, 2011 at Burdwan.
He is pursuing Ph.D. program on Right to life of persons with disability with reference to disability laws in India. He has also presented a paper on it titled Legislative Intendment Towards Affirming Disability Rights in India (Right to Equality) in the UGC Sponsored National Seminar organized by the Madhusudan Law College, Utkal University, Cuttack on Law, Justice and Social Transformation in India held on 17-18 December, 2011 at Cuttack. He was conferred Hon ble Co- Chairpersonship for a session.
He has obtained Grade-A in the 67th Orientation Programme organized by the UGC-Academic Staff College, Ranchi University, Ranchi from 12th March to 8th April 2012.
He has obtained Grade-A in the first Refresher Course in Law organised by the UGC-Academic Staff College, The University of Burdwan, from 12th November to 2nd December 2013.
 

He has participated in a Seminar cum Workshop on “Scope of Legal Aid in Jharkhand” organized by the Centre for Legal Aid Programme, National University of Study and Research in Law, Ranchi held on 11th October, 2014.

He has participated in the Course on Faculty Development Programme on “Entrepreneurship Awareness and Development” organized by the Indian School Of Mines, Dhanbad and sponsored by National Science and Technology Entrepreneurship Development Board, Department of Science and Technology, GOI, New Delhi from 2nd March, 2015 to 5th March, 2015.

He has participated in the Course on Faculty Development Programme on “Entrepreneurship Awareness and Development” organized by the Indian School Of Mines, Dhanbad and sponsored by Department of Science and Technology, GOI, New Delhi from 22nd February, 2016 to 26th February, 2016.

He has presented a Paper titled “A Call for Reforms to Legal Education in India with special reference to Jharkhand” in the consultation organised by Jharkhand State Bar Council on “Contemporary Challenges to Legal Education: Need for Reforms” on 28th July, 2019 at BNR Chanakya, Ranchi.
