Legal Aid Clinic
With reference to the Article 39A of Constitution of India and The Legal Services Authorities Act, 1987 the College has constituted Legal Aid Clinic comprising faculty members and students. The clinic organises workshops or camps in co-operation with the Legal Services Authorities. Such program strives to provide legal assistance to those who cannot afford it. The Clinic provides free legal aid to the needy on second Saturday of every month.
Moot Court Activity
The Moot Court Committee of the college intends to systematically promote train, guide and coach students for moot court activities. The most significant objective of the committee is to impart moot court skills to further the academic excellence in the student community and to develop their advocacy skills in an environment of friendly competition.
The committee is vested with the task to select, train and send students to various moot competitions at all levels. Legal education through class room learning and moot court participation stimulates the learning zeal of students. The moot court sessions encourage the development of skills in brief writing and oral advocacy.
The moot court exercise is practiced in different stages like analysis of the facts of a case to arrive at legal points, to understand decided cases, preparation of the plaint, written statement, drafting written and oral arguments and conduct of the participants with opponent counsellors and the bench.
