Dilip Kumar Sharma has been conferred Bachelor’s Degree in Law from Chhotanagpur Law College, Ranchi in 1976. He joined Dhanbad Bar in 1977 and since 1979 he was giving his services as a part-time lecture to this college.
It was in 1996 that he became a full-time faculty member. He has also to his credit being in the panel of lawyers of government concerns and other renowned firms when he was a legal practioner. He has been a lawyer of a good standing for nearly two decades at Bar before he bid adieu to this noble profession to devote his undivided attention to this College as a teacher.
His areas of interest include Company law, Professional Ethics and Law of Insolvency. It was his perseverance that made him pursue higher studies in law. He completed LL.M. in 2013 through distance mode from Kakatiya University, Warangal, A.P.
His dedication and hard work has been a source of inspiration for other colleagues. He has served this institution as Principal also from September 2008 to July 2010. He was Dean, Faculty of Law, Vinoba Bhave University, Hazaribag.
